Medical Office Cleaning

Doctor's offices, clinics, dental and physiotherapy rooms cleaned with hospital grade disinfection by vetted, supervised staff.

Which rooms in a clinic need a different clean?

A medical office is not an office with a waiting room. Patients sit down where someone else was coughing an hour ago, and the surfaces that carry the most are the ones nobody thinks about: door handles, elevator buttons, the shared telephone, the clipboard counter at reception. A janitor who only empties bins and runs a vacuum leaves every one of those untouched.

Cal-State cleans doctor's offices, walk-in clinics, dental facilities, physiotherapy studios, hospitals and long-term care homes. The work list runs from the reception and waiting area through patient rooms, bathrooms, the break room and the kitchen, with window cleaning and vent, duct and air handler cleaning when the building calls for it.

How the crew disinfects a treatment room

The order matters. Dry dust and loose debris come off first, then horizontal surfaces get a wipe-down with a hospital grade disinfectant, then the floor. Bathrooms get a full disinfection from fixtures to floor, and handles, telephones and elevator buttons are worked over on every visit.

A disinfectant only kills what it stays wet on. The solution has to sit on the surface for its full contact time before it is wiped or mopped away, so the crew applies it, moves on to the next surface, and comes back to wipe. Wiping straight away looks the same and does much less. Spills and contaminant cleanups, terminal cleaning of a room between uses, soiled linens and sharps are handled as separate, bagged waste streams rather than tossed in with the office trash.

Equipment, staff and getting a walkthrough

Most clinics have machines that cannot take a standard cleaner or a wet cloth. Tell the estimator what is in the building and Cal-State will plan special solutions and tools for it, or leave a piece of equipment to your own staff if that is safer. Crews are hand-selected, background checked, supervised and trained on confidentiality, which matters when they are working near patient files and open exam rooms.

Packages are built from only the tasks you need, so a dental office that wants nightly bathrooms and weekly floors does not pay for a full hospital schedule. To book a free on-site estimate in Belmont, call (650) 458-1212 during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
